How well is the day need covered in vitamin E by the taking of Argan oil?
As a taking dose it is advisable to take 3 x 1 teaspoon of oil (= 3 x approx. 3 g = 9g) before the meals daily. 9 g Oleador-Argan oil contain approx. 4.14 mg* vitamin E.

The Recommended Daily Allowance, (RDA) for the vitamin E according to the
"food law nutrition labelling regulation" and directive 2008 / 100 / EC of the commission from the 28th of October, 2008 amounts to 12 mg. 3 teaspoons Oleador-Argan oil cover therefore approx. 34.50 %* of the day need in vitamin E.

Because vitamin E appears in the form of different chemical compounds which are also very different in their efficacy, the everyday need becomes in the so-called international unities (IU). 1 mg D-alpha-tocopherol corresponds 1.49 IU. The D-alpha-tocopherol is the most important compound which is also represented in the nature most often.
The part of D-alpha-Tocopherols in our Argan oil amounts to approx. 69 %*.

Today the USP value (USP = United States Pharmacopaeia) is also given increasingly instead of the I.E. value, besides, the USP value corresponds precisely to the I.E. value.

Absolutely injuriously for the vitamin E is refining of Argan oil. Hence, only cold-pressed Argan oils shop. Because vitamin E reacts sensitively to light and oxygen, the Argan oil in dark and firmly close bottles keep.

* The values underlie natural fluctuations.
