The uniform European Union Community logo distinguishes products from controlled organic farming. It is compulsory for pre-packed food to be labeled with the EU eco label for organic production. Nevertheless, the obligation to print the EU logo as well as the proof of origin onto those products was delayed by the regulation (EC) No. 967/2008 from September 29, 2008 to July 1st, 2010.

The German National Eco Label (Bio-Siegel) is the federal uniform sign for products from organic farming. It symbolizes the controlled production of organic products. Legal basis for the eco label is the German Organic Labeling Law (Öko-Kennzeichengesetz). In view of the criteria for the use of the eco label the Organic Labeling Law refers to the requirements of the EU Organic Council Regulation. All agriculture products going to be marked with the eco label must be produced according to this regulation.

On February 14, 2012 the European Commission published Regulation (EU) no. 126/2012 amending Regulation (EC) no.1235/2008 whereby the United States of America have been added to the list of third countries approved for the purpose of equivalence as set in Annex III.
Exports to the USA
With the exception of livestock and livestock products that have been produced using antibiotics, organic products produced and/or processed and/or packaged in the EU and certified according to R(EC) 834/07 are approved in the US as organic products under the equivalence agreement without the requirement for additional certification. Organic raw materials used in the production of the equivalent organic products are not required to have been grown in the EU and may originate from Third Countries. Organic products are eligible for the equivalence provided that they have been imported in the EU and have been processed (at least a packaging process) in the EU.
EU Imports from the USA:
As of June 1st, 2012, NOP (National Organic Program) certified products originating from the USA may be imported into the European Union without prior certification per EC standards set by Regulation (EC) no.834/2007 and EU importers are no longer required to apply for import authorizations issued by Member States (certificates of inspection issued for each consignment remains mandatory). However, product eligibility is strictly conditioned by restrictions set in Annex III of the designated regulation.

Traceability is differentiated in:
- Downstream Tracing (downward- directed retracing from producer to consumer) and
- Upstream Tracing (upward-directed retracing from consumer to producer).
Our concise lot number system provides highest transparency and safety. Every delivery of raw material immediately receives a lot number (batch number) from us or our manufacturers. The lot number accompanies the raw material through all production phases up to the bottling of the final product. The number is printed on the label according to the German Lot Marking Regulation, in order to be able to retrace the origin of the end product during all phases of production upward-directed (i.e. from consumer directly to the farmer) and downward-directed (i.e. from the farmer directly to the consumer).

Agriculture Biologique (english: organic farming), abbreviated AB, is the official seal of the French Ministry of Agriculture awarded to products from biological cultivation in France. Its German counterpart is the BIO-seal. All agriculture products going to be marked with the eco label must be produced according to the EU Organic Council Regulation. Its German counterpart is the eco label.

All our products marked with this guarantee seal are certified according to our Vegan criteria. Veganism is a philosophy and life-style trying - as far as practicable – to avoid all forms of exploitation of and cruelty to animals capable of suffering. For our Argan oil this seal means among others that the use of Argan almonds excreted or spit out by goats is completely out of the question.

We own the guarantee seal "kbA Qualität" (“controlled organic farming quality”).
All our products and raw materials marked with this guarantee seal, as for example our cosmetics, come from controlled organic farming. But due to their objective characteristics, those products do not however apply to the EU Organic Council Regulation 834/2007 (former EU Organic Council Regulation No. 2092/91). Hence, they neither carry an eco label nor any other hint towards the EU Organic Council Regulation.

Our Argan edible oil is controlled and officially authorized according to the Novel Food Regulation and may be marketed by our company throughout all countries of the European Community.
In order to protect public health all new types of food and food ingredients - briefly called Novel Food - have to pass a uniform safety check before they may be sold in the European community. Argan edible oil is such a so-called Novel Food and therefore subject to authorization. The application for authorization has to be filed at a responsible national authority. In Germany the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food safety (BVL) is the authority in charge regarding this matter. After the authorization has been granted, it is obligatory for the applicant to inform the DG Health and Consumer Protection of the European Commission in Brussels about placing the Argan oil on the market.

We deliver your goods CO2-neutral: Our consignments are transported a way that produces lower emission, that way minimizing our environmental effects. If desired, you will be provided with a certificate that testifies our compensation of the CO2 amount, which DHL has produced last year by transporting our goods. All CO2-emissions produced during the transport and processing of our consignments are measured and compensated by respective climate protection projects. The calculation method and particulars for our company were tested and certified by the independent Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS).

The Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety of Lower Saxony (LAVES) has given us the confirmation that we may introduce Argan oil in Germany.
LAVES was established by the government of Lower Saxony in order to enable early detection of health risks for consumers and efficiently fight those risks. Therefore, reliable control systems, clear quality assurance systems, safety methods as well as independent and objective information belong to the most important instruments of this board. In LAVES the six formerly federal investigation offices for food and utility items and 3 institutes are integrated, as well as nationwide operating professional departments entrusted with duties of technical and operative consultation.

Durch die Beteiligung an dem dualen System des grünen Punktes für das Recycling von Verkaufsverpackungen leisten wir weit mehr als nur die Erfüllung unserer Verpflichtungen aus der Verpackungsverordnung. Our approach to packaging is to completely abandon plastics with plasticizers, like Soft-PVC, and make way for other products made of, for example, PP (Polypropylene) or PE (Polyethylene). For instance our canisters are produced in Germany from PE in a high-pressure procedure (HD-PE) and are food-save.
